RANSOMWARE THREAT RE-EMERGING
The FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) has issued two bulletins with regard to ransomware that you should read and share right now.
Ransomware is a type of malware designed to deny access to a computer system or data until a ransom is paid. Organizations, municipalities, hospitals, and schools have been infected in a number of ways including phishing campaigns and software vulnerabilities.
