Our commercial division provides the expertise and attention to detail required to handle any commercial real estate transaction, from the simple to the very complex.  We combine practical experience of our team with strong backing of the country’s largest and strongest underwriters to provide a clear path to closing.

C. Clinton Cooper, Senior Vice President of our Commercial Division brings more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate title insurance industry to our operation.  Clint has been involved in the practice of law, specializing in commercial law and commercial real estate, as well as the creation of the tidelands search industry in the state of New Jersey.  He has been an owner of both a title insurance company as well as an independent agency at different times.  It is fair to say he is one of the preeminent experts in his field and a great asset to our company and our clients.

Examples of transactions that Clint has been involved with include:

  • 17 State, 21 site industrial financing for NJ based company, refinanced 4 times since 2004
  • Cerberus Acquisition of Tower Automotive, evaluated numerous sites and insured five in both first and second mortgage as pari passu and third mortgage, refinance several times in the last 4 years
  • $190million acquisition and financing of 7 site Assisted Living Facilities in various counties throughout NJ
  • $465million bond financing of co-generation plant in Sayreville, NJ
  • 8 Houlihan’s Restaurant acquisitions and financing throughout NJ.
  • Insured NJMC for $150,000,000.00 for approximately 800 acres in the Meadowlands from the Encap litigation
  • New Jersey SBA 504 matters totaling $30million+
  • 600,000 square foot frozen food warehouse, including air rights easement for conveyor system that connected two warehouses 30 feet above railroad tracks that separated the buildings.
  • C&S Wholesale Grocers $400,000,000 financing covering properties in CA, FL, HI, MD, SC and PA
  • C&S Wholesale Grocers acquisition of AWI/White Rose through 363 bankruptcy sale for $283,000,000 covering properties in NJ and PA
