Foundation Title may accept credit card payments only for charges that are not directly related to a real estate closing or settlement.
Credit Cards are Accepted for:
- File shortages
- Third-party materials, such as HOA documents or resale packages
- Title reports ordered for information purposes only (no closing or insurance)
Credit Cards Are Not Accepted For:
- Earnest money deposits or any other funds held in escrow prior to settlement
- Fees associated with title insurance policies
- Settlement or closing service fees
- Search fees that are part of or related to a real estate transaction
